Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Got It Maid’s website (www.gotitmaidny.com). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and services. By visiting our site or booking services with us, you agree to these Terms.


1. Services

Got It Maid provides residential cleaning services in Canandaigua and surrounding areas of Ontario & Monroe Counties. A description of our services can be found on our website.
All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.


2. Quotes and Pricing

  • Quotes are provided based on the information you give us and may be adjusted if the scope of work changes. 
  • Final pricing will be confirmed before the cleaning begins.
     

3. Scheduling and Access

  • You are responsible for ensuring our team has access to the property at the scheduled time.
  • If we cannot access the property due to locked doors, pets, or other obstacles, a cancellation fee may apply.
     

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.
  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a fee (see our Cancellation Policy page for details).
     

5. Satisfaction Guarantee

  • If you are not satisfied with any area we have cleaned, please notify us within 24 hours and we will re-clean that area at no additional charge.
  • This guarantee does not apply if the dissatisfaction is due to conditions outside the agreed-upon scope of work.
     

6. Limitations

For safety and insurance reasons, we do not:

  • Move heavy furniture or appliances.
  • Clean hazardous materials (including mold, biohazards, or pest infestations).
  • Perform tasks outside the agreed cleaning scope.
     

7. Liability

While we take every care when cleaning, Got It Maid is not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing damage to property or belongings.
  • Items not disclosed as fragile or high-value.
  • Damage resulting from unsafe conditions in your home.
     

8. Website Use

All content on our website, including text, images, and logo, is owned by Got It Maid and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our written permission.


9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.

SATISFACTION GUARANTEE & REFUND POLICY

 Effective Date: August 1st, 2025At Got It Maid, we take pride in delivering exceptional cleaning services. Your satisfaction is very important to us, and we stand behind the quality of our work.

1. Satisfaction Guarantee

  • If you are not satisfied with any area we have cleaned, please notify us within 24 hours of your service.
  • We will arrange to re-clean the specific area at no additional charge.  


2. Conditions for Guarantee

  • The guarantee applies only to areas and items included in your agreed-upon cleaning scope.
  • The home must be in the same condition as when we cleaned it (no new messes or damage) for the guarantee to apply.
  • Requests received more than 24 hours after service may not qualify for the guarantee.  


3. Refund Policy

  • Got It Maid does not offer cash refunds for completed services.
  • Instead, we address concerns by re-cleaning the area(s) in question or providing a service credit toward your next cleaning, at our discretion.  

4. Limitations

Our guarantee does not cover:

  • Stains, buildup, or damage that cannot be removed with reasonable cleaning methods.
  • Areas/items not included in the booked service.
  • Services performed under hazardous or unsafe conditions.

CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING POLICY

Effective Date: August 1st, 2025

At Got It Maid, we understand that life happens and schedules can change. We strive to be flexible whenever possible, but last-minute cancellations can cause significant scheduling gaps and loss of income. This policy helps us keep operations running smoothly for all of our clients.


1. Notice Required

  • We require at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellation or rescheduling of a cleaning appointment. 
  • Notice can be given by phone, text, or email.
     

2. Late Cancellations

  • Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of $50.
  • This fee helps cover the time reserved for your service and the wages of our staff.
     

3. No-Show Appointments

  • If our team arrives at your home at the scheduled time and is unable to gain access (due to locked doors, pets, or other obstacles), the appointment will be considered a no-show and a full service fee may be charged.
     

4. Rescheduling

  • We are happy to reschedule your appointment if notice is given at least 24 hours in advance.
  • Rescheduling within the 24-hour window may be treated as a cancellation and subject to the cancellation fee.
     

5. Emergencies

We understand emergencies happen. If you have a true emergency that prevents you from providing 24-hour notice, please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to work with you.


6. Repeated Late Cancellations

  • Clients with three or more late cancellations in a six-month period may be required to prepay for future appointments.

Scope of Services & Service Limitations

Got It Maid provides high-quality residential cleaning services throughout Canandaigua and surrounding areas in Ontario & Monroe Counties. This page explains what is included in our standard services, what can be added upon request, and the limitations we follow for safety and quality purposes.


1. Standard Cleaning Services

Our standard cleaning includes:

  • Kitchen – Countertops, sinks, exterior of appliances, stovetop, cabinet fronts, light fixtures, floors
  • Bathrooms – Toilets, sinks, tubs/showers, mirrors, light fixtures, floors
  • Living Areas & Bedrooms – Dusting furniture and surfaces, vacuuming/mopping floors, light fixtures, emptying trash
  • General – Cobweb removal, dusting accessible vents, wiping baseboards (light dust)
     

2. Deep Cleaning Services

Our deep cleaning includes everything in the Standard Cleaning, plus:

  • Baseboards, trim, and doors wiped down
  • Inside of cabinets/drawers (empty)
  • Detailed scrubbing of bathrooms and kitchen surfaces
  • Behind small furniture and appliances (if safe to move)
  • Light switch plates, door handles, and high-touch areas sanitized
     

3. Add-On Services (Available Upon Request)

  • Interior window cleaning
  • Refrigerator cleaning
  • Oven cleaning
  • Laundry & linen service
  • Move-in / move-out cleaning
  • Post-event cleaning
  • One-time seasonal or “spring” cleaning
  • Home With Pet(s)
     

4. Service Limitations

For safety, liability, and quality reasons, we do not:

  • Move heavy furniture or appliances (over 25 lbs)
  • Clean hazardous materials (mold, biohazards, pests)
  • Wash walls or ceilings
  • Provide outdoor cleaning (except exterior window panes accessible from inside)
  • Use client-provided cleaning products unless pre-approved
     

5. Client Responsibilities

  • Provide clear access to the areas scheduled for cleaning.
  • Secure pets and valuables prior to the appointment.
  • Communicate any special requests at the time of booking.
